Accelerated Learning

A Seminar in Theory and Practice

The current times, with their demands and simultaneous progress, confront many people with great challenges. It seems that there is an endless access to information and knowledge available like never before. Therefore the need for fast and efficient learning is not only present for students, pupils, and highly qualified professionals, but for pretty much anyone. It exists not only quantitatively, but above all qualitatively.
In the last 30 years, many changes in the professional world have led to higher turnover and individual pressure to perform. More than ever people are exposed to an uncontrollable and less secure future. In addition, the Digital Revolution created a shift in the labor market that had never occurred on this scale before. The knowledge required to perform certain tasks changes on average every 9 months. This has resulted in a huge demand for fast learning, yet largely with insufficient resources of expert knowledge.
Due to this pressure to perform, not only professionals began writing books on efficient learning. Seemingly, anyone who had acquired a certain amount of knowledge felt called to do so. However, most of these books were written mainly with the intent of making a profit, rather than with the motivation to share valuable knowledge and tools. Many authors primarily appeal to the comfort zone of potential buyers.
This seminar on accelerated learning does not promise that learning will always be easy and fun, nor that one can learn a new language faster by passively exposing oneself to it. This seminar provides knowledge and tools about learning, how it works, and how to apply it successfully. Learn how to learn.
