Footreflexology

A treatment of footreflexology affects other parts of the body through manipulation and pressure in certain areas of the foot. This can relieve tension, relieve pain and improve blood circulation. Furthermore one can use the feet as a diagnostic tool for muscular-tension of the body and thus indirectly – via the fascial muscle-organ connections – additional, valuable information can gathered.

Footreflexology originated in the Far East, both in Ayurvedic healing arts from India and in Chinese medicine. It is also used in Japanese shiatsu.
